In Sweden they have something called “White Monday”, that started as an initiative to help people prioritize what people are spending their money on. White Monday is driven by second hand stores and sustainable actors that hope to change the way we think about shopping and consuming new stuff. Instead of buying something cheap, why not invest in quality and sustainability?

 

Get Your Priorities in Order

It doesn’t even have to be something you buy for yourself. Charity organizations all over the world are taking a stand against Black Friday and hope that people value standards of living prior to a new wardrobe.
