Singapore is one of the world’s most welcoming countries. And the republic is one of the smallest countries in Asia. Singapore consists out of 63 islands with the main island included. Due to its position by the equator, the country is lacking seasonal changes and the tropical climate is coherent.
The country was once home to a lot of empires, due to its unique location by the sea. Once the country turned independent, its status as a world re-known trade city was imbued in the market of trade since almost forever. Even though it was a developing country, Singapore’s standards of living was almost as high as in Japan. However, there were other issues that the republic needed to face, some socio political ones for instance. Singapore is and have been since, dependent of its export industry.
Tourism is also a big factor that needs to be considered while talking about Singapore’s success. The country is a popular destination for tourists of all kinds and many travel there because of its multicultural and multireligious ways of viewing the world and welcoming behaviour, as well as watching the amazing architecture and nature.
