This summer has been crazy hot in most parts of the world. Some enjoy it, some can’t even bare it. It’s one thing if you’re on vacation and if you’ve got access to water 24/7, but if you’re stuck in an office without air condition the heat could be overwhelming. So, what to do if you feel like the weather is getting the best of you? Well, here’s some tips on how to stay cool on a hot Summer’s day:

Turn Your Home into a Safe Environment

For starters, if you don’t have an air condition system at home, go buy yourself a fan right away. It doesn’t need to be something fancy, just something that can cool you down. Open up all of your windows and always shower cold before going to bed.

Work, Work, Work, Work, Work, Work

If the heat is unbearable at your workplace, there are a few things you can do, depending of what your work environment is like. This might sound really silly to you, but is actually quite a good invention. If you don’t want or can buy a mechanical fan at your workplace, you can buy yourself a cap with a built-in fan. It doesn’t make any sound, but it will keep your mind cool as ice. However, if you’re not allowed to wear caps at work, you can always go for a traditional fan. If you’re sitting down all day long and if your colleagues are relaxed, you should also make yourself a foot bath. It doesn’t disturb anyone, it will keep you cool and your feet will be baby smooth.

However, if you’re work place isn’t so relaxed, you should start making small adjustments to your food and beverages. Go for an ice coffee, instead of a hot one and try to eat salads and sushi instead of food that needs heating.

Let’s take back the Summer!
